Tom Tomorrow pines for a castle in the air with other Progressives

What is a castle in the air? It's a common metaphor for a dreamworld that people imagine when they use phrases like "there oughtta be a law" and "if I were king for a day I'd do XYZ." IF they spend longer than a few seconds in their airy castles, or if they get all upset about the difference between reality and a castle in the air, we call it psychotic schizophrenia. Check out Tom Tomorrow, douchebag cartoonist extraordinaire, in his wishful trip to the castle in the air of psychotic schizophrenia-world.

Update: Notice how none of the frames in this comic represent the real world? They are all products of TT's imagination. Most are his imaginary castle in the air of progressive-world. The final frame is his imaginary dialogue of non-progressives, who in reality don't think or say anything like what he represents them saying. In other words, there is not a single true statement in the entire comic. It is one, sustained psychotic break from reality.

Deep thoughts from Blago...

When progressives do what they call "deep thinking," what they are actually doing is known by most people as "psychotic schizophrenia." They jettison reality in favor of some idealized world where everything runs according to their whims instead of according to what actually goes on in the physical world and in the thoughts of every single other human being in the world. Remember, every single human being has the same God given rights that you have. These rights do not infringe on the rights of others. That's how you know they are God given: because God would not have created a flawed system. Whether or not they are allowed to exercise these rights by their religion and government, they still have them. So-called rights, like healthcare, that take away someone else's rights, like the right of people with insurance to keep it, are not God given. They are inventions of the Devil and man. Only a progressive would want to perfect the world by taking away God given rights (like self defense) and replacing them with cheap imitations (like a police state) invented by men and the freaking Devil.

But progressives still want to do it, not because it makes sense, but because they are douchebags. The psychotic schizophrenia and rabid hatred of Christianity helps too.

Brave words coming from "Anonymous."

Despite the snark, he's very correct: "Rights" are the things you have that don't infringe on other's rights.

That is why there is no "right" to health care--because such a right would infringe upon the rights of the health care providers.

That's why you don't have a "right" to a job--because such a right would infringe upon the rights of the businessman whose company offers it.

That's why there is no "right" to not be offended--because such a right would infringe upon the speech rights of the speaker.

Oh, good. Our friend Anonymous with more random dumbfuckery. Off our meds again, are we?

Hey folks, Don't chase the progressives off. They might learn something despite themselves if they keep coming back.

Why pick on Progressives?

Progressives are neo-barbarian, luddite fools who want to replace all scientific progress with their failed, pseudo-scientific, utopian fairy tale and take us back to the paleolithic period. In other words they are douchebags.

Q: Do you have a problem with Progressive Insurance?

We don't have a problem with their insurance product. But the company is also a major giver of money to politically progressive causes, and because of that the owners and managers are total douchebags.
